This is a technical planning role focused on identifying and managing system obsolescence risks for critical assets. You will work with mechanical, combat, and naval systems to ensure operational continuity and reduce downtime due to outdated parts or technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Identification & Assessment: Monitor and identify system obsolescence risks across mechanical, electrical, combat, and naval systems
2. Policy Development: Develop and implement obsolescence management policies and procedures for long-life assets
3. Life Cycle Planning: Analyze product life cycles and forecast obsolescence timelines for critical components
4. Alternative Strategies: Research and propose alternative procurement strategies, replacement parts, and upgrade solutions
5. Stakeholder Coordination: Work with engineering, procurement, maintenance, and vendor teams to plan mitigation actions
6. Documentation: Maintain obsolescence databases, risk registers, and mitigation reports
7. Compliance: Ensure all obsolescence plans align with client standards, Saudi regulations, and defense/marine requirements
8. Cost Analysis: Evaluate cost impact of obsolescence and recommend budget-friendly solutions

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
2. Experience: Minimum 6 years experience in technical or administrative study planning systems. Experience in defense, marine, oil & gas, or heavy industry preferred
