ABOUT THE ROLE:
Foundgates is hiring qualified MEP Engineers for leading construction, real estate, and infrastructure projects in Bahrain. You will be responsible for design, execution, and supervision of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design & Planning: Prepare MEP designs, layouts, and technical drawings as per Bahrain codes and international standards
- Site Supervision: Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and low-current systems
- Coordination: Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to resolve clashes and ensure smooth execution
- Quality Control: Ensure all MEP works meet safety standards, client specs, and LMRA Bahrain regulations
- Documentation: Prepare BOQs, method statements, RFIs, and as-built drawings
- Project Management: Monitor project timelines, budgets, and material requirements
- Compliance: Ensure all works comply with Bahrain Building Code, NFPA, ASHRAE, and DEWA standards
- Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for timely delivery and quality
